Dự án là một hành trình cải tạo đầy cảm hứng, biến một ngôi nhà theo lối kiến trúc chiết trung tại trung tâm thành phố Huế thành một không gian giáo dục mầm non hiện đại. Đối mặt với hiện trạng nằm trong con ngõ nhỏ ngoằn ngoèo và bối cảnh đô thị san sát, lộn xộn, nhóm thiết kế đã lựa chọn giải pháp tối giản hóa mặt đứng với tông màu trắng chủ đạo nhằm tạo ra một nhịp nghỉ thị giác nhẹ nhàng cho trục đường. Điểm nhấn ngoại thất nằm ở lớp vỏ bằng lam nhôm lấy cảm hứng từ các khối đồ chơi cubic gỗ xếp chồng, vừa mang lại diện mạo thông thoáng, vừa khơi gợi trí tưởng tượng cho trẻ nhỏ ngay từ cái nhìn đầu tiên.
Về công năng, cấu trúc tổng thể của ngôi nhà cũ được giữ lại nhưng toàn bộ hệ thống tường ngăn được tái thiết lập để tạo ra 5 phòng học tối ưu cùng các khu vực phụ trợ tiện nghi. Điểm sáng trong thiết kế là sự kết nối xuyên suốt giữa sân chơi trong nhà và sân sau, không chỉ mở rộng không gian vận động mà còn thúc đẩy lưu thông gió tự nhiên, hạn chế tối đa việc sử dụng điều hòa không khí.
Bước vào bên trong, mỗi lớp học lại mở ra một thế giới riêng với những chủ đề và tông màu trung tính, sôi động nhưng vẫn mang đậm tính nghệ thuật. Cách tiếp cận này giúp trẻ có những trải nghiệm học tập và cảm thụ không gian mới mẻ mỗi khi bước sang một độ tuổi mới, trong một môi trường vừa vui tươi, vừa tràn đầy tinh thần sáng tạo.

The project is an inspiring renovation journey, transforming an eclectic house in the heart of Hue city into a modern preschool educational space. Facing the existing situation of being located in a narrow, winding alley and amidst a crowded, chaotic urban environment, the design team chose a minimalist facade with a predominantly white color scheme to create a gentle visual break along the street. The exterior highlight lies in the aluminum louvered shell, inspired by stacked wooden cubic toy blocks, providing both an airy appearance and stimulating the imagination of young children at first glance.
In terms of functionality, the overall structure of the old house was retained, but the entire partition wall system was redesigned to create five optimal classrooms along with convenient auxiliary areas. A highlight of the design is the seamless connection between the indoor playground and the backyard, not only expanding the play space but also promoting natural ventilation, minimizing the need for air conditioning.
Stepping inside, each classroom opens up a unique world with themes and neutral, vibrant yet artistic color palettes. This approach allows children to have fresh learning experiences and spatial perceptions as they enter a new age group, in an environment that is both joyful and full of creativity.
